Surge protective devices protect electric / electronic systems and devices from damage caused by excessively high voltages. This dangerous interference energy is gradually broken down to a level corresponding to the rated impulse voltage.
Please note that the relevant arresters have to be energy-coordinated to ensure interaction of the individual protection stages.
DEHNshield Basic: For DIN rails up to 160 A. This combined arrester is directly mounted at the entrance point into the building. It protects the electrical installation in the immediate vicinity.

DEHNcube YPV SCI 1000 FM: The DEHNcube YPV SCI type 2 arrester provides comprehensive protection for your PV system – in a single enclosure. It is mounted directly upstream of the inverter. In case of a cable length of more than 10 metres between the PV system and the inverter, another arrester is required in the roof area.
